We don't sell your data — and we never will

MadPlanner is a personal project, not a data company. We don't sell your data, and we have no interest in ever doing so. Here's the honest reason.

Let me say it plainly: we don’t sell your data. Not now, not later. And we have no interest in it.

It might sound like something everyone says. But here’s the honest reason I can promise it: MadPlanner isn’t built to collect and sell data. It’s a personal project I made because I wanted the tool for myself.

What we use data for — and what we don’t

The only thing I’m interested in is seeing the broad patterns in how the product is used, so I can make it better: what works, what trips people up, where people drop off. That’s it.

Not to sell anything. Not to follow you around the web. Just to improve the meal plan. Your data is neither sold nor shared for that kind of thing — and it’s not a temporary kindness while we’re small. It’s the whole idea.

Why I can promise it

Many data companies end up selling data because that was the business model from the beginning. My plan is a different one. I hope MadPlanner can one day become profitable enough to cover a year’s subscriptions for the tools I’ve built it with — no more than that.

When that’s the ambition, there’s no reason to compromise on your data. So I don’t.

Still in progress

We’re in beta and learning all the time. But this part doesn’t change: your data is yours. We look after it, keep it in the EU, and use it only to make MadPlanner better — for you and for the other families who are with us from the start.
